Mossley and Carrbrook Schools' Partnership Nominated for a Prestigious Award

Through the Mossley and Carrbrook Schools' Partnership, all of our children in Class 5 have brass instrument tuition on a weekly basis.  They all learn to play either the trumpet or the trombone.  They use plastic instruments which sound exactly like the real thing! 

After a year of lessons last year, Class 5 played in a concert at Mossley Hollins that included the MHHS junior band, children from St George's, Milton St Johns's and Buckton Vale. 

The MCSP music project, a partnership between Mossley Hollins and the four partner primary schools has been nominated as one of the finalists for the Classic FM “Best Classical Music Education Initiative Award”.
