Did you know that children have to be at least 13 years of age to subscribe to all of the major Social Networking sites? This includes Bebo, Facebook, Piczo, Habbo, Hi5, Youmeo, Xanga and Friendster. In the case of MySpace, the minimum age is set at 14 years of age. Though extremely difficult for the service providers to enforce, it does actually mean that children in primary schools and most in KS3 are actually too young to hold an account in the first place and should definitely not be accessing these sites.
