‘Grow, Learn, Achieve Together’

Ofsted Report

Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place on 16th and 17th March 2022, and we are delighted that Livingstone Primary School continues to be recognised as a GOOD school. We are extremely proud of the report, which reflects the hard work, dedication and high standards that define our school community. Inspectors highlighted many strengths, including:

  • A warm, caring atmosphere where every child is valued and supported

  • High expectations for behaviour, resulting in pupils who behave well and feel safe

  • A well‑planned curriculum and strong teaching that enable pupils to achieve well across all subjects

  • Engaging lessons that spark curiosity and enthusiasm for learning

  • A consistent and effective approach to phonics, helping children become confident, fluent readers who achieve well in reading

  • Inclusive support for pupils with SEND, ensuring they are fully involved in school life and encouraged to develop independence

  • Robust safeguarding processes that keep children safe

The full report and a letter from the Chair of Governors is provided at the bottom of the page.

Parentview

Ofsted now gathers parent feedback through the Parentview website (link here). Comments can be posted at any time, not just when an inspection is taking place. We are proud of our relationship with parents and always have high approval ratings in our annual questionnaires.
