‘Grow, Learn, Achieve Together’

Safeguarding

Safeguarding our children is a priority, and we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We take all concerns seriously and act promptly to ensure the wellbeing of our pupils. If you have any worries about a child’s safety or welfare, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Miss Rebecca Willard, at school. Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mr John Flint and Mrs Deb Parkinson.

Our school is part of Operation Encompass, a partnership between schools and Greater Manchester Police. This initiative ensures that when police attend incidents of domestic abuse where children are present, the school is informed in a timely and confidential manner. This enables us to offer immediate, appropriate support to children who may be affected, helping them feel safe and understood during difficult times.

If you are a member of the public and have concerns about the welfare of any child, you can contact the Public Service Hub directly on 0161 342 4101. Your call could make a vital difference to a child’s safety and wellbeing.
